I now have, from the City of Modesto/State of California, 3 outside Garbage Cans that I have instructions on what can & what cannot go in them!! This Kitchen garbage can, with the 3 ,makes it so much easier for me to keep all garbage separated & put in the correct outside can!! If I didn’t I could be fined & that’s not gonna happen!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GARBAGE CAN!!!!

Sometimes the expense is worth the convenience.I previously used a standard 13gal can but most garbage days I’d toss a bag half full. For a time I used a smaller pail atop the 13gal can but it was too small. Finally I got tired of that space-inefficient set-up and settled on this gem of a garbage receptacle.The motion sensor works well with a solid gliding hand over it, not a wrist flick. Using the button props the door up longer.I appreciate the lights inside the top compartment since the location I have the garbage can doesn’t get good lighting.The 4gal bins could’ve been designed more wide-mouthed – I have to be careful emptying my Dyson canister – otherwise the capacity is perfect.

I would give a 5 star review but the drawer for recycling is a bit unstable when i take out and put it back. Otherwise the item is so great.the Motion is super convenient
