This automated trash can is a bit bigger than I was expecting. Putting it together was super easy and it came with a roll of bags which was really nice. It fits well next to the toilet in our bathroom and the motion sensor seems to be fairly sensitive and can be triggered with hands or feet. I will say be careful where you place it. Because of where we had to put ours, it often gets triggered when reaching for the TP. It’s so quiet that it’s not a huge issue though.One thing to note is the replacenent bags are a bit pricy. The refill pack is $25 for 200 bags. That being said, they are very high quality and have a drawstring which is convinient. I’m sure you could get cheaper wastebasket liners that would work.At the price point, I think this offers great value and I would purchase again!

I’ve been looking for a motion-sensor waste basket for our bathroom, as the foot operated one always works its way back so that when the lid snaps open it hits the wall, plus its quickly working its way around to being inaccessible. This appeared to fit all of my requirements, and it does, however, I note that when I have a dark object facing the sensor, or am wearing black, disposable gloves, it doesn’t open, so skin tone could be an issue. The plastic should be easy to clean. The lid opens slowly, smoothly, and very quietly (though not silently, quietly enough that it would work equally well in a bedroom where someone else is sleeping); is offset a bit toward the front and doesn’t open past 90º, so it doesn’t hit anything when it opens. The ring to hold the bags inside the basket is a simple thing which makes it much easier to change the bags. It takes AA batteries (not included), which are easy to find. Essentially, we can find absolutely nothing wrong with it, and are very happy with it.Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

This automatic trashcan is perfect for our guest bathroom.The motion sensitivity is nice, and it opens every time without issues.It looks right at home with the core of our bathroom and I have zero complaints, actually I have only good things to say about this!Is the perfect size and a very nice color and finish and I think anybody who purchases this will be just as happy as we are.

Really nice motion sensor trash can! Comes with a roll of bags to insert in it. As you can see by the video, the motion sensor works easily to open it. Easy to assemble. Takes 2 AA batteries, load the bags and you are set to go! I have been looking for a bit bigger sized motion sensor trash can to put in my bathroom to keep the dogs out of the trash. This one was perfect for my needs. Just turned the trash can around so that the motion sensor was towards the back….so if the dog did set the sensor off, the lid would open the opposite way, so the dogs still couldn’t get into it. I was determined to outsmart these dogs…so far, so good!!

This is a great size trash can for bathroom as you can see it fits very nicely between the wall and the toilet and my bathroom. The automatic feature is good and works pretty well. I think it’s great that they provide a roll of bags to start off with. Would be nice if it included the AA batteries that you need but other than that no complaints.

I got your for my son’s room as our newest puppy would always go trash picking in they there. He had a smaller can about this size but it was open at the top. I was hoping this would solve the issue and it did!! It comes with a roll of trash bags. It does require 2 AA batteries not included. It is easy to open and close. I’m glad the sensor is on top so my dogs don’t set it off. Just wave your hand above it and it opens on its on and closes after a few seconds. It is whisper quiet. Perfect for our needs.

I ordered this trash can because my husky always tries to take things out of my bathroom trash can and I was tired of having to keep the door closed! It is very easy to assemble, but you will need to provide the batteries. The motion detection works great and it stays open long enough to throw garbage away. It comes with trash bags, too, which were a pleasant surprise! I am very happy with this trash can so far!

I seriously didn’t expect to love this motion sensor trash can as much as I do. It works exceptionally well and I have to admit, better than anticipated. Small battery compartment has a good tab to open and a handy ribbon to lift out batteries for changing. Nice touch. There is really nothing to assemble other than inserting 2 Double-A batteries (not provided) and your trash can liner. A roll of bags does come with which is nice! There is a ring inside the lid that supports the bag, easy to use and a nice addition to secure the bag.I had originally planned to use this in the bathroom but it ended up being quiet enough to use in the bedroom. Anyone with allergies has a permanent place for your box of tissues near the bed and this was the perfect solution for disposal. The sensor works remarkably well. There is no flapping your hand back and forth to try and get it to open. It just does. Quietly and very quickly. The large opening makes access a snap. The other method of opening is with a motion towards it with your knee when you are standing. Once again, this motion works exceptionally well. There is a button for manual opening if you need it.Interesting design aspect is the manufacturer has made this waterproof so it can be gotten wet with a thorough cleaning without worry of damaging the sensor. That is a very convenient safeguard. The plastic liner fits so well (and is entirely hidden due to the clever ring inside) I don’t see too much heavy cleaning needed with this unit. The trapezoidal design does make this smart sensor trash can sit sturdily on the floor or carpet with no sense that it might tip over while using or if your pet bumps into it. Nice design. We’re thinking we need an additional one already for other areas in the house!

Having a new puppy that loves to get into the trash, I have recently ordered several automatic garbage cans but they are often quite small. This one is a nice 3 gallon size which is the equivalent of a small to small/medium bathroom bin. Perfect size for our bathroom needs. The lid works perfectly. I like the interior removable rim that holds the garbage bag in place. Keeps a very neat appearance. The puppy can’t get in and the odors don’t get out either so she’s less intrigued to begin with, which is an unexpected bonus because I thought she would want to play with it and maybe figure out how to get it open. But because no odor escapes she has not interest anymore. I have nothing bad to say about this product. It really worked and solved my issues. Very pleased.

This is a nice motion sensor trash cash. It is small size for a bathroom or bedroom. I had intended to place it under my desk, however the motion sensor gets screwy under a desk, likely due to the light or lack of light. It was going off all the time and then never closing. I placed it elsewhere in the room and now it works perfectly. Not a big deal, just be aware of this as I didn’t really think about it prior to getting and using.

I really am so happy with this trash can! I have it in my bathroom and it’s so nice that it is hands free! It holds a lot of trash and even comes with trash bags to get you started.

I love the hands free trash with lid and it’s nice and roomie. Really like that the trash can comes with a roll of trash bags that have the ties on them.

This trash can is exactly what I needed as the existing stainless one kept leaving marks on the wall when manually pressed to open the lid. This being automatic, I no longer have this issue. The trash can came with small roll of starter trash bag to fit, but I am sure typical office trash bag (several gallon size) would fit as well. The material of the trash can is plastic and looks to be very easy to take care of and clean. The size is also a plus and has a larger opening. The lid sensor works well and extremely quiet when it opens and closes. Overall, this is an excellent and very nice looking trash can for every day use but also to impress others when visiting.
